Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and have had a good week, not long till the weekend now and its supposed to be a fabulous one so hopefully I might get in the garden, it really could do with a good tidy, if the grass gets any longer goodness knows what we will find in there!

I have made this card for my daughters boyfriend, he will be 18 and he just loves meerkats, strange I know lol. I'm going to enter it into this weeks Papertake weekly challenge where their theme this time is anything goes with the option of new.

The papers are from the new kit from The Creative Cottage that is going to be released tomorrow and the image is by Sandra Dry, the stars and numbers are from the Little Monkeys Pirate Adventure download by The Creative Cottage and the sentiment was done on my PC.

Morning all, sorry I have been such a bad blogger, life has just got in the way but this weekend I made time to join in with a challenge I have been wanting to join in with since it began, Less is more, I just love this challenge so much, C&S used to be my style when I first started card making but I sort of lost my way a bit but making this card has confirmed just how much I love it and I will defiantly be making more like this.

Their challenge this week is a touch of red and straight away I new what I wanted to do, don't you just love it when it comes together very easy, not very often I can say that lol.

The robin was one I bought of ebay last year, sentiment and branch were ones I did on my pc.

I cant wait for their next challenge now :)

The Creative Cottage challenge

Good morning to you all, its time for another challenge over at The Creative Cottage and this time the fabulous Lindyloo has selected the theme which is a Christmas card with a matching gift bag, I think everyone nearly had a heart attack when they read bag but in fact it wasn't that bad, well I must admit I cheated a little and used the gift bag available in the Gingerbread Lane easel card kit, the card was made using the Gingerbread Lane full kit.

We said a sad goodbye to Carol over on the Creative Cottage this week and I would just like to say good luck with everything you do its been great working with you Carol, we also said a big warm welcome to Mandi, if you haven't visited Mandi's blog your in for a treat she has a wonderful style and makes the most gorgeous creations, like her first sample for this weeks challenge, please pop over and take a look along with the rest of the fabulous design teams, there is also the chance to win a £10 voucher. Good morning everyone, its a cold one here and its snowing, hasn't started to lie yet but I don't think it will be long, the little ones are so excited in fact so are the big ones lol!!

This weeks its Carol's turn to pick the challenge theme for The Creative Cottage Challenge and she has gone for Christmas in un-traditional colours, so no reds or greens. I have made my card using one of the new Winter Tree downloads from The Creative Cottage and embellished it with pink gems, you can really see it but there is embossing on one side.

well penny blacks were my first love in crafting and what started it all of, the colour black is my favourite colour to add to any card, card candy are my favourite embellishments and pink petticoat papers are my all time favourite papers.

Ginger Bread Lane

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good week and had a fabulous and safe bonfire night last night, I took my little ones to a local display, they did nothing but moan lol sometimes you wonder why you bother! still in saying that they did seem to enjoy it so all was not lost, kids are so strange!

Here is a card I made using the new easel kit available over at The Creative Cottage, these are so fabulous if you have lots of cards to make or just havnt any time to craft or want something in a hurry, infact they are just fabulous, you even get the little gift bag!

The full kit is also available and it has the most adorable ginger bread men, now I'm not normally a fan of ginger bread men but I just love these! The kit, easel card kit and paper pack are available to purchase here.

Hi everyone, its time for another Pollycraft challenge and the lovely Emma has picked this weeks theme which is It's Chill Time....... you can interpret this how you want, chilling out, relaxing, snow etc, I went for the relaxing!

I have made my card using the Relaxing Ronnie image which is my favourite image for men's cards and its for such a worth while cause ( read about it here ) if you haven't got it in your collection already you need to get! The papers are from Autumn Afternoon paper collection from The Creative Cottage. The sentiment was one I did on my PC and the buttons are from my stash.

The Creative Cottage Challenge 25

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well,it has been a rubbish few days here so I'm not in the best of moods :(, Matthew my youngest had an accident at school on Monday morning and had to be took to hospital, we have spent the past two days in hospital and he spent nearly two hours in theatre yesterday so its been awful but he is feeling much better today and full of beans so hopefully all is now OK, although he is going to have a scar on his head, he says he is a little Harry Potter, bless him!! So I'm sorry that I have been even worse getting round your blogs than I normally am I'm just so behind with everything at the minute :)

Anyway, its Wednesday and time for another challenge over on The Creative Cottage Challenge, this time the theme is Halloween and has been picked by Teri, I loved this as I really love making Halloween cards. I have made my card using the Spooky Cupcake mini set.

I cant believe how long it is since I posted, I havnt been well and with the little ones been of school my mojo has left the building, hopefully it will return soon. ............Im so late with this post and am such a bad blogger at the minute, hopefully once the school holidays are over and I have caught up with things over at the creative cottage I will have more to show you and be able to visit you more often but for now I'm sorry for been a bad blogger! So anyway here at last is my card for this weeks Creative Cottage Challenge which has been chosen by Donna and is a bit of a tough one, acetate, well I found it a bit tough any way but I must admit I enjoyed the challenge and it got me doing a style of card I have never done so thats a good thing! Touch Feely

Two days in a row, I'm doing well :) This card is for the new Creative Cottage Challenge which is touchy feely set by the fabulous Becky. This was tough one for me at first but then I found some handmade papers in my stash that had a little stud design all over it so I teemed them with some embossing and pearls and there you have it. The papers and letter are from the Daisy Chain Farm kit and the image is an old freebie what I printed out in Sepia tones.

Good morning, well over on The Creative Cottage Challenge blog its my turn to set the challenge so the theme this week is No Cards Allowed, now wouldn't you of thought that seems I set the challenge I would of had loads of ideas and probably when I did set it that was the case but it defiantly wasn't the case when I came to make it so I went for an easy option...........a book mark..........still a book mark always comes in handy doesn't it and I have been wanting to make one of these for ages as a bit of paper in my book doesnt look great does it? Since making this one I have had requests for several more infact my daugter even claimed this one so thats another one I need to make for myself!

I have made it using papers from this months The Creative Cottage

freebie and the cute little fairy is an image from Pollycraft.

Cupcake Craft Challenge

Hi everyone, hope you all have had a fab weekend, mine has been a good one but very hectic. We are thinking of getting a dog, anyway we have found one and have been spending lots of time with him to see if he likes us, all is going well so hopefully we will be bringing him home soon!

I did find a bit time to craft, cant show you most of what I have done yet but I can show you this card. The image is one of the fabulous new Cherry kisses range....whatever!.... from Pollycraft due to be released on 15th of July along with some other totally gorgeous images that you are just going to have to get your hands on. I have to say I LOVE this image, it so reminds me of my oldest daughter Lauren, even down to the docs lol. I have made this card for saying well done with her exams, when she gets the results!

The butterfly is in the sentiment, I dont no if you can see it but it says "A snowflake is winters butterfly" and the buttons are part of the snowflakes, hope this is ok.

Twiddly Wings

Hello there, hope you have had a fabulous bank holiday weekend and the weather hasn't spoilt things to much, we had lots of plans for out doors but then it started to hail stone so that put a stop to that but never mind it gave me a chance to do some crafting so I was happy!

I have made a card for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge which is "here comes the sun!"this can be a summery image, sunny sentiment, summer colours.... or even the sun ;) I went for sunny sentiment, image and maybe even papers?

I have also made this card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge who has a recipe this week and they want to see 3 PAPERS...3 RIBBONS...3 FLOWERS. well I managed the 3 ribbons and 3 papers but not sure about the flowers, if you don't count the ones in the image and paper I should be alright ;).

The papers are basic grey and I'm not sure of the other ones as they were from my scrap box, the image is from the Twiddly Wings set from pollycraft, I just love these little fairies they are so sweet, speaking of pollycraft have you seen the new images what are been released on the 10th, I so cant wait to get my paws on those cute little bears, get a sneak peak here.

Good morning to you all, hope you are all well and enjoying the start of the bank holiday weekend, don't you just love bank holidays, any way I have a card to share with you, its for two challenges, the first is Cupcake Craft challenges who want you to make a card that's anything but square and the other is Papertake Weekly challenge who are asking you to do something different.

So I decided to on a circle easel card as I have never done one before and I tend to shy away from circle cards. Have to say I did struggle and wont be making many of these, square ones are so much easier lol. The papers, image and letters are all from the freebie over on my other blog The Creative Cottage, the flowers were from my stash,they look a lot darker in the photo than in real life........ they do match the colours of the card..... honest lol.

Ronnie Relaxing!

Emma (Crafty Emma) sadly lost her father last September following an accident at work. He was airlifted to hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance but sadly their help couldn't save him, In his memory Emma and her family are raising funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity.

To help Emma and her family raise funds for the charity Paula from Pollycraft has designed a wonderful image of "Ronnie Relaxing" and he costs £1.50 and all money for this digital image will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Fund.

Emma has also put a challenge on her blog, with a chance to win some gorgeous prizes, please visit her blog to purchase the image and enter the challenge. Alternatively it can be purchased from Pollycraft Designs.

Good morning everyone, its time for another challenge but first I would just like to say thank you to everyone who took part in last weeks, what an amazing response and such gorgeous creations, we all had a great time visiting your blogs. The theme for this weeks challenge at the Creative Cottage Challenge blog is Going Green, this can be either recycling or the easier option the colour, I went for the easier option of the colour. Christmas Wishes

Well although I said I was going to be well organised and make a Christmas card every week, this is only my second one this year but at least its better than last year where I only got one made. I have made this card using the fabulous sketch over on Pollycraft Monday Challenge and I have used the colour combo on this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge, which is red and white. You might of noticed I missed a piece of the sketch out so I added gems instead, hope this is ok lol. The image is from Pollycraft isn't she so beautiful, although I'm not a fan of colouring images I must admit I'm really starting to enjoy it but how could you not when your working with gorgeous images such as these.

This weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge is childhood memories, such a lovely theme I had to join in. I used a image from my favourite set of images from Pollycraft, I love all their images but the Twiddly Wings are just so adorable,the sentiment is also from Pollycraft, the papers are from the Creative Cottage and the other bits n bobs are from my stash. I am also entering this one for Dare U 2 Digi as they are asking you to add metal and the flower is metal.

Good Morning everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. Just wanted to share this card with you, I know its been ages since I updated my blog but hopefully I will be updating it a lot more regular now.

I made this kit using papers and toppers sent to me by the fabulous Becky, what lovely surprise that post was, you can imagine how excited I was to open the package and see not only a stunning card made by Becky but these gorgeous goodies. Well I just had to play and so I teemed them with the brilliant sketch over on Papertake Weekly and there you have it my card.

At last a Christmas card!!

Friday Sketchers have a fabulous sketch so I had to have ago, I combined it with the Dare 2 Digi Challenge which is to make a last minute Christmas card, seems I havn't made a single Christmas card yet this year ........... I know shocking but its been a hectic few months..... any way I thought this was a good opportunity to hopefully make a start for next year so here is my card. The cute mouse is from DigiStamp Boutique and the papers are from The Creative Cottage.
Right I'm of now to build a snowman with the little ones, dont you just love all the snow we have been getting, fingers crossed for a white Christmas!
